Snowmobile Safety Classes
Wisconsin state law requires anyone born after January 1, 1985 to obtain a snowmobile safety certificate to operate a snowmobile. DNR certified snowmobile safety Classes are offered by Brown County clubs and are typically held in the fall of the year. All DNR certified instructors are Volunteer Club Members. The objective is to prevent snowmobile accidents and improve the quality of snowmobiling, by teaching respect and safe operation of a snowmobile. Check this web page for upcoming Classes or visit the Wisconsin DNR website for a safety class to get a certification card (operator license).
